Dense sonicscapes: tracking though a muddy field after a brutal battle - questions emerge, whose footprints are whose? which body belongs to which side? The echo of a lost soul reverberates in the distance, her voice is as isolated as we are, until- we hear the first strike a piano and the battle is over- her voice is clear and so is the way home. Amazing album.

Not only is this the heaviest album I’ve heard to date but this album also helps me cope with misophonia! It’s impeccable perfection is a gift to my ears every time I listen to it and is like a warm hug for the soul. HMontgomery

This review is long overdue. This album right here is the album that finally pulled me out of the "commercial" music world and into the world of the raw, experimental, and sincere. An amalgamation of everything I love about post-metal and hardcore taken to a mathy, heavy, ambient extreme. brineryte

Back when I smoked I used to get stoned out of my gourd, sit in my comfy chair on my porch and jam this album. Still just as stunning sober but Rooks Across The Gates would leave me in a puddle. ObsidianGhoul
